Es una ruta muy fácil para toda la familia y para principinates con handbike. No tiene ninguna dificultad, ya que en todo momento el camino es totalmente plano.

Comenzamos en la entrada al pueblo de Torroella de Montrgrí, en un descampado que hay delante del supermercado Carrefour donde podemos aparcar. Salimos en dirección al río Ter donde encontraremos una pista de arena que tomaremos para ir llaneando siguiendo el río.

Disfrutamos intensamente del paisaje y de la sensación de ir en bicicleta en medio de la naturaleza. De vez en cuando la vegetación nos irá abriendo ventanas para contemplar el paso del río, ancho y majestuoso, que avanza silenciosamente hacia su fin.

A medida que vamos llegando al final del recorrido veremos cómo nos vamos acercando al mar y como el río empieza a difuminarse, formando lagunas en la arena de la propia playa.

El itinerario termina en un precioso mirador, desde donde podemos observar la desembocadura del río y el mar con las Islas Medes como telón de fondo.

It is a straightforward route for the whole family and beginners with handbike. It has no difficulty since at all times the road is flat.

We start at the entrance to the town of Torroella de Montrgrí, in a field that is in front of Carrefour supermarket where we can park. We leave in the direction of the Ter river where we will find a sand track that we will take to go along the river.

We enjoy the landscape and the feeling of riding a bicycle in the middle of nature intensely. From time to time the vegetation will open windows to contemplate the passage of the river, broad and majestic, that moves silently towards its end.

As we get to the end of the route, we will see how we are approaching the sea and how the river begins to fade, forming lagoons in the sand of the beach itself.

The itinerary ends in a beautiful viewpoint, from where we can observe the mouth of the river and the sea with the Medes Islands as a backdrop.
