El itinerario comienza en Palamós, junto a una gasolinera Galp que hay en el Km 326 de la carretera C-31, donde disponemos de aseo adaptado y aparcamiento. Desde este punto, empezamos a pedalear por un camino llano reservado sólo a peatones y ciclistas.

Durante la ruta, encontramos diferentes bifurcaciones a rutas paralelas que van a poblaciones y puntos de interés cercanos. Nosotros seguiremos el itinerario hasta Plafrugell suma unos 6km.

La ruta transcurre por una parte del antiguo recorrido del tren que unía las localidades de Palamós y Palafrugell

Variante: Playa del Castell

Existe una variante que nos lleva hasta la maravillosa Playa del Castell, situada en la localidad de Palamós. Si queremos hacer la variante, transcurridos 1,7km desde la gasolinera, encontraremos el desvío a la derecha que indica “Platja del Castell y de la Fosca”. Desde allí llegaremos a la playa en 1,5km atravesando un frondoso pinar. Volvemos por la misma ruta y podemos seguir hasta Palafrugell por el itinerario original.

The itinerary starts in Palamós, next to the Galp gas station that we find at Km 326 of the C-31 road, where we find adapted toilet and parking. From this point, we start pedalling on a flat path reserved only for pedestrians and cyclists.

Along the route, we find several forks to parallel ways that go to neighbouring towns and points of interest. We continue the road to Palafrugell for about 6 km long.

The route runs along the old train route that linked the towns of Palamós and Palafrugell.

Diversion: Castell Beach

There is a diversión that takes us to the beautiful Platja del Castell (Castle Beach), located in Palamos. If we want to make the variant to Playa del Castell, after 1.7km from the gas station, we find the detour to the right that indicates “Platja del Castell and La Fosca”. From there we will reach the beach in 1.5km crossing a green pine forest. We return by the same itinerary, and we can continue to Palafrugell by the original route.
